Updates

  • New "concierge-style" onboarding flow in the works. We handle most steps via Power of Attorney; the driver only provides the police registry excerpt (Führungszeugnis) and GZR (Gewerbezentralregisterauszug).
  • Three parallel tracks to remove the car dealership requirement (no parking lots, no police registry / GZR for business registration):
    • Exception approach — pursuing a formal exception (to the requirement of being a car dealer) at the Bundesland level.
    • Plate factory approach — registering drivers' businesses in regions where the local Zulassungsstelle issues red plates to car transporters without requiring a dealership setup.
    • Mayor lobbying — direct outreach to municipal decision-makers.
    • → Outreach and clarifications in progress across all three; tracked in the ZLG tracker.
  • Webinars continue to perform well.
  • Activation rates trending up; further operationalization this week, tracking in the onboarding dashboard.
  • Logic for balancing supply (drivers) and sales (demand) (supply dashboard):
    • Trying to hit the 1.2 magic ratio of volume / drivers.
    • Hitting the driver number by starting to activate Tier 1 drivers in addition to Tier 0.
  • AI calling: provider telli delivers materially higher call quality. Test and buy decision needed by Wednesday.
  • Improved relationship with Robert Lapuste (MUPG / Rotes Kennzeichen). Useful channel for the red-plate workstream.

  • Ruthlessly improve Tier 0 driver activation speed and quality.
  • Re-operationalize Tier 1 driver activation.
  • Keep raising webinar quality.
  • Ship v1 of the new concierge onboarding workflow for live testing.
  • Get clarity on the new unlocks (exception approach + plate factory approach).
  • Lawyer check: legal boundaries on recommending drivers register as "KfZ-Handel" to apply for red plates.

Where could AI calling have the biggest impact?

Use AI calling for

  • Speed-to-lead on inbound. Instant callback (under 60s) when a driver shows interest. Biggest unlock; humans can't match AI on response time or 24/7 coverage.
  • Webinar no-show recovery. High intent, easy to bring back to the next session.
  • Stuck-in-onboarding unblocking. Most stalls are mundane (GZR, Führungszeugnis questions). Proactive AI calls beat waiting for support tickets. Pair with concierge flow.
  • Tier 1 re-activation. Large dormant pool, near-zero marginal cost to try.

Lower priority, worth piloting

  • Webinar reminders (24h + 1h before).
  • Post-webinar follow-up for non-starters after 48h.

Don't use AI for

  • Closing hesitant drivers — trust matters, human only.
  • Top-priority Tier 0 leads — humans should focus here.
  • Legal gray-zone questions (red plates, KfZ-Handel framing). Needs a clean handoff.

Framing

  • AI calling = top-and-middle-of-funnel amplifier, not a closer.
  • Humans stay on closing, complex cases, and trust-sensitive moments.

Week 1 deployment

  • Start with speed-to-lead + stuck-in-onboarding.
  • Both are measurable (response time, time-to-activation) and a fair test of telli vs. the incumbent.
